The technical know-how behind Trust Water® and FAQs

Filtration – First stage

The first stage is made of a special ceramic that provides true micron filtration. The cartridge reduces the finest particles down to 0.5 micron (=0.0005 millimeter): microplastics, bacteria, cysts and turbidity of tap water. The incorporation of silver trapped in the ceramic structure inhibits the growth of bacteria and gives the filter cartridge improved bacteriostatic and self-sterilizing properties.

Filtration – Second stage

The inner core of activated carbon removes pollutants and organic contaminants according to the performance chart.

Energization

When processing the water filter and ceramic active carbon cartridges, I am concerned with deleting pollutant information and restoring the order system of the water. I take advantage of the fact that purified and unsaturated water molecules have the property of wanting to replenish themselves immediately.

As the filter flows through, the stainless steel housing and filter cartridge, which have been energetically charged with the frequencies of gemstones in my laboratory, pass this vibrational energy directly to the water. Thereby the oscillation frequencies correspond to those of our cell control. The more lively the structure of the water, the more active the biophoton exchange.

Profitability

Using the recommended drinking quantity for a family of 4, the running cost after purchase is less than one cent per liter of the best drinking water – a fraction of the cost of bottled water, which in most cases is no better.

Conductivity

On the subject of conductance and water quality: The exemplary statement of many osmosis filter suppliers “You could also say that the more polluted the water is, the higher the conductance” is simply wrong and misleading. Step by step to the physically correct explanation:

Physical explanation of the conductance

1. In nature, a certain number of “charged particles” = ions from minerals / salts are dissolved in every water. These ions can be positively or negatively charged (cations or anions).

2. Only the quantity and valence of these available, freely mobile charge carriers provide information about the electrical conductivity of the water, measured as conductance.

3. No general statement about the water quality can be derived from the conductance value – if an osmosis water were to be contaminated with more harmful bacteria, for example, it would still have a very low conductance value. Would anyone want to drink it because of that?

Correlation of the conductance with Trust Water®

The Trust Water® water filter can meet all of its performance specifications with respect to the listed organic and inorganic contaminants without significantly changing the conductance of the water, because the naturally occurring minerals in our water are preserved. Keep in mind that drinking acid – and this is osmosis water, because pH remains pH – is certainly not beneficial to the human body.

We depend on sufficient intake of mineralized water to maintain our acid-base balance in the body and to effectively buffer acids that are formed. This is the only way to prevent hyperacidity of the body. The intake of 2 liters of acid per day has the opposite effect. And with already low levels of mineral nutrients, a washout in the long term is in any case to be classified as a concern. Moreover, osmosis water is not a natural product, but a technical product. But our bodies are adapted to drinking naturally occurring water – how else could we have survived the last 200,000 years?

Minerals & Trace Elements

Occur in varying amounts and compositions in groundwater and our drinking water, depending on location. Minerals and trace elements are natural ingredients of our water that should neither be removed nor reduced. They are necessary or harmless for humans because they are in accordance with nature and have accompanied our existence and development for millions of years.

Microplastics

Microplastics are solid and insoluble synthetic polymers (plastics) that are smaller than five millimeters. Microplastics from decomposition processes of plastic waste in nature, cosmetics, detergents, synthetic fibers, tire abrasion, etc. now pollute our drinking water to a high degree, without the health consequences being sufficiently researched. Trust Water® reliably filters particles larger than 0.0005 millimeters out of your water – and thus also microplastics.

Load on the tapping point

Drinking water may be contaminated in minute amounts even after filtration through contact with the fixtures (standing water in the faucet). Therefore, always drain 1-2 seconds of water before removal – this is only about 50ml.

Mobile filter insert

in changing locations – for this purpose, always unscrew the filter after disassembly and leave the filter cartridge and housing well dry inside if the filter is not to be connected elsewhere immediately.

Recontamination

Back contamination is the term used to describe the risk to drinking water from standing water contaminated by bacteria, for example, in a water filter, which can be sucked back into the pipe network through a leak and back suction. Adherence to the recommended 6-month change cycle will help prevent this possibility.

Installation

and disassembly are child’s play and done within a few minutes. Without installer and special tools. Only for unscrewing the aerator on the faucet may need pliers or a special plastic wrench (against scratching the faucet), which can be purchased at the hardware store.

Technical data

Size:diameter 10 cm / height 32 cm
Gewichtmit Filterkerze 1,8 kg
Flow rate approx. 5 liters / minute
Material: Housing stainless steel / filter cartridge ceramic and activated carbon
Filter cartridge changeevery 6 months
Connection directly at the tap of the tapping point (internal thread M22) adapters and spacers for different tap designs are available

Filter performance

Flow rate approx. 5 liters / minute. One filter cartridge is sufficient for approx. 3,800 liters of water in the recommended operating period of 6 months; this corresponds to approx. 21 liters / day.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I dispose of my filter cartridge?

Via the normal residual waste in the household.

How do I dispose of the filter?

If the filter is no longer to be used, we will take it back for proper disposal; simply contact us. Otherwise, dispose of separately according to metal and plastic (hose) in accordance with the applicable regulations.

Is there a quick water test?

a possibility to have your drinking water tested in some value with a test kit at home or by an independent laboratory.
In Germany, for example, at wassertest-online.de

Where can I see my current drinking water quality?

You can ask your local water authority for information on the quality of your drinking water. However, these represent only part of the water quality or pollution.

Are there any legal regulations for drinking water?

Legal regulation that establishes the criteria of water quality to be fed into the supply network.

Here is the link to the official text of the regulation:
gesetzte-im-internet.de/qualität-trinkwasser

How often to change the filter cartridge?

At least every six months or earlier depending on the decrease in water pressure (clogging of the filter by particles / suspended matter / impurities).

Does the device need to be cleaned?

Cleaning within the usage interval of the filter cartridge is not necessary. However, if the water pressure decreases, the filter can be unscrewed and the mounted filter cartridge can be cleaned under running water with a clean hand brush. This removes the layer of particles on the filter cartridge created by the filtration.

My filter is leaking - what to do?

Ensure that the seals are correctly seated and that the screw connection is hand-tight! Always check for leaks after assembly and operation! Since the filter is not under constant pressure via the closed tap, water can never escape in large quantities.

How to fix a run-on ?

If the filter drips after a long period of operation, this is due to air accumulating in the housing. Invert filter over sink – run a little water – open filter housing while water is running and allow air to escape. Hand-tighten – DONE!
